Orford Golf Club Competitions
Regular competition events for members are scheduled for Thursdays (primarily ladies) and Saturdays. The course will be closed to social golfers on those days until around 12.30 on Thursdays and 2.30 on Saturdays. Visiting members of other golf clubs are invited to join these competitions on the payment of $25 green fees and the competition fee of $8.
We hold a 9 hole stableford competition every week. You can play and enter any time from 3pm Saturday to the following Friday at 5pm. This is open only to those with a GA handicap. Cost is $5 for members and included in the green fees for visitors. See notice near green fee station for competition conditions.
A social day for the community, prospective new members or people wanting to try golf is held on the last Sunday of the month. The cost is $20 for a 9 hole game and lunch (or you can join us just for the golf or lunch for $10).
Finally, we hold regular 9 and dine events - a Friday afternoon/evening 9 hole fun competition followed by dinner. Bookings are essential - watch our Facebook page for details.
For visitors wanting to use the course it is advisable to avoid competition days.
